USA Thir13en / Thirteen Ghosts (2001) [Never in 3D]

I asked this in the official Thir13en Ghosts thread and someone said to try here.

I'm curious if anyone else saw or knows anything about this being in partial 3D (not anaglyph) at the theater like I saw it. I've looked all over and can't find anyone mentioning that, but it made the movie so much more fun - a ride.

I believe it was only partial 3D ("put the glasses on here" type thing or maybe you wore the glasses the entire time, but the 3D only turned on at certain points). It may have been when anyone put or had the glasses on. Sorry, it's been a while (22 years), but I'm very sure I saw it in 3D.

Watching it in 2D, like some have said, I'm finding it kind of boring. In 3D, though, I remember having a great time, especially with scenes where a person is being dragged by the leg down twisting corridors with a ghost chasing. That was great! After that watching it in 2D is kinda meh.

I really don't get why it seems no one else remembers it in 3D. You can tell parts were filmed in 3D. In one part, Matthew Lillard throws a flare or something directly at the camera (seen in a trailer) - that just isn't done outside of 3D.

The movie was a whole lot better as a ride and most 3D movies are geared more for that than good characters or story. At this point, I'm wondering how many theaters showed it in 3D. As I said, I couldn't find anything, so I came here. This movie was obviously filmed in partial 3D and I saw it in 3D. I'll never forget that corridor/chase scene in 3D - in 2D it's mildly interesting and I never would've remembered it.

It was the most fun I've had at a 3D movie, so it's kind of strange that no one seems to remember a 3D version and I'd like to find out was going on. Thanks for any help.
