I remember the reviews for this being mediocre to mixed, but it is a Rian Johnson film and I loved Looper and Brick. Unfortunately, the local library's copy of the dvd seems to have gotten heavily damaged (too many careless idiots renting movies) and I didn't feel like watching the movie and have it glitch and freeze up halfway through.

I'm crossing my fingers that Rian Johnson's Star Wars sequel won't be covered in unnecessary lens flares like I'm guessing JJ Abrams' SW film will be (they were so obnoxious & distracting that I couldn't get into his Star Trek reboots).

I suppose there would already be comments here if this were the case, but I'll ask anywho:

ANY NEWS on a 4K remaster / UHD release?

Brick got one a coupl'a months ago from Kino. It is apparently an underwhelming encode (and a dirty last reel?). But since it was done, I was hoping this newer and much better film would get a new release.

Do we have to wait for the 20th Anniversary in 2028?
