No sound on bonus 4k features - Blu-ray Forum

I am hoping someone can help me solve this problem.

I have 4k sony player, region free and also region locked. Sonos sound system, and a samsung 75inch tv.

When I play a blu ray or 4k blu, the feature film plays with sound fine. But no sound on the extras, in any way. What is going on? I never had an issue like this in mu decades of owning physical media. Its making me crazy. I don’t know what to do.

Is Secondary audio turned off in your player's menu?

I’m not sure, I don’t see anything called secondary audio. I have PCM and auto settings.

Sorry, I meant I have two 4k players, one region free and one is not. Both are having the same issue.

the players are, Sony X700m & Sony X700

I haven't had that model in a long time but I believe in the setup menus you will find a setting for secondary audio.

Thanks! I found the setting and had to turn it to OFF and that seems to have done the trick.
