Halloweentown is a series of four fantasy films released as Disney Channel Original Movies: Halloweentown (1998), Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (2001), Halloweentown High (2004), and Return to Halloweentown (2006).

The series has had a number of DVD releases and re-issues throughout the years but despite its continuing popularity (as least the first film is almost always shown on Freeform in October) has yet to get blu-ray releases.
No Disney Channel Original Movie has received a blu-ray release and we were perhaps lucky to even get these on DVD, but if any films from Disney Channel deserves blu-ray releases, its these films. I'd argue they're just as popular as Hocus Pocus at this point in time. This is probably a very far-fetched wishlist thread to post, but a girl can dream. |

Too bad none of the other Disney Channel Original Movies have had Blu-ray releases since. |

![]() They really need to give these films releases instead of re-issuing the DVDs with different covers/slipcovers over and over again. Its right up with the HSM films as being the most popular and well-known DCOMs on the channel. |

Even though I'm personally not holding out much hope, I would love to have the Halloweentown movies released on Blu-ray, as long as the original production aspect ratios are preserved (i.e. 4:3 for the first film, and 16:9 for 2-4). The problem is the first three films were edited on SD video and they haven't remastered them in HD yet. |
