Default King Kong turns 90 today!

The movie that truly kickstarted the kaiju genre. Special effects have dated but still impress considering the time. Gets a lot in for its 100 min running time. What else is there to say?

A group of talented technicians and artists threw all of their skills together in one big mix and stood the world on its ear! A lot of the innovations used were in their infancy and these guys learned by trial and error as their masterpiece was created!
Have already seen it theatrically here in January for its ninetieth and I see there are other scheduling s coming nationwide

lol Now, why you have to blame Ann, it was really Carl's fault! He was just trying to pass the blame on to someone else so he wouldn't get sued and go to jail.

Happy 90th Birthday, King Kong. And many more ahead hopefully! I think giant Gorillas can live up to 400 years old.

As far as King Kong, where are his siblings, and his mother to celebrate his 90th birthday that gave birth to him? On Skull Island, I think it was revealed that they were all killed by the monster creatures. Otherwise, Kong would have to be spontaneously generated.

Kong spends most of his life on his own and manages to make the most of it, fighting Godzilla, humans and other dangerous creatures when needed.

If King Kong is still around in movies in another 90 years, that's an amazing accomplishment.

Terrific movie. A legendary classic monster/love story still great after 90 years.

That second gif looks like Godzilla stepped on his face.
