Nice! I enjoyed this remake for what its worth. That long opening sequence once Jason is running with that ax. Brutal!

Make you almost wonder if we'll be getting all the Friday the 13th's from Arrow on UHD at some point? They do seem to be getting a lot of Paramount and Warner titles, so it's not that far fetch if you really think about it.

Unlikely (IMO) but that would be best case scenario.

It would be insane if Arrow and Cliff were able to lock that in.

Especially when, just a few years ago, Warner forced Shout and Cliff to use the existing Friday the 13th disc for their boxset.

I would happily buy every Friday movie from Arrow for $40 a pop. I don't think WB or Paramount will do them justice like Arrow can.

Someone mentioned this in the arrow US thread, but I wonder if this means we could potentially get the Texas chainsaw massacre remake from arrow in 4K.

Given the fact that Marcus Nispel directed that one too and he was heavily involved with the brand new special features for this edition, I’d say there’s a good chance.

That’s been on my most wanted list for a while. It would look stunning in 4K DV.

Oh I would be ALL over a UHD of the 2003 TCM.

And while I'd love for someone to re-do the original Friday the 13th on 4K, I will probably end up grabbing the 4K of the remake. As far as remakes go, it's probably one of the better ones from the 2000s.

Also can't believe that it's now been 15 years since we last got a Friday the 13th movie. Wild.

Will Arrow release this in the UK as well since Paramount has the rights here and Arrow now have a deal with Paramount?

No. Arrow's Paramount deal is US only.
