Default Miss Scarlet & the Duke (detective drama series)

Have only sampled one episode of the detective drama series Miss Scarlet & the Duke before (the very first one), and I would say I liked it but didn't love it. However, I'm going to revisit the show and sample some more episodes, then decide whether I want to watch the rest.

The new fourth series/season is being shown on channel Alibi (is it correct that it airs on PBS in the States, and on CBC in Canada?).

I like it in general, but it's not one of my favorites. Feel it gets a little too feel good being a PBS show.

Yes, it's on PBS here in the US. They PBS/Masterpiece co-produce it which is most likely why it airs first in the US starting with season 3.

This sounds familiar, making me think back to a discussion I had with another member last year in a thread about Grantchester (the eighth series was shown in the States before the UK (it started here a few weeks ago). Prior to that I think a new series/season may have been shown in the UK before the States).

Good show to jump in and out of. Not sure how the new season will fare without The Duke.

I actually like the new guy, they kind of wrote themselves into a corner with Wellington, they either had to get together or drop it and go their separate ways.

Think we've still to watch season 4, need to get back to it, then see how they go with the new lineup
