Ok, I think they are all great films, they really are. I mean the first two are important parts of my childhood. That said, I think the third is the best film in the series because it is the one that got to me most emotionally. I think the sign of a great movie is one that pulls at your emotions and you relate to, and Toy Story 3 was the one I clearly related to the most, because I'm 20, and I just went through the whole moving away and giving up your stuff, its hard. Especially with the toys you loved. The action figures and everything. It's also just such a fitting ending to the series. I really can't say anything bad about this movie other than how much I absolutely love it

Move to Toy Story 3 thread.

Or at best capitalize the title of the movie

3,1,2 in that order. I made a comment on facebook that it was close to LoTR for best trilogy ever. Some people didn't like that.

I actually agree with you, I think it is up there for best trilogy ever. Its really near perfect. I can't really think of another trilogy I'd rather watch more than three of these films

Agreed 3,1,2

As a true Trilogy (LOTR was more like one long movie) This one is up there. Though I rate it 3,1,2 they are not that far off from each other, not like SW and ROTJ sucked ass

3, 1, 2 here as well

Hahaha yea...I love the SW trilogy, but Toy Story is better LOTR really is one long movie, where as these are all their own separate stories. The only other perfect trilogy to me would be the first three Indiana Jones movies Not that I hate on 4, but the original three are a great trilogy and 3 really is a fitting end to the series I kinda like at 4 like fanfiction...

19th July, I guess I have to payback the time for watching Kick-Ass a month early and Scott Pilgrim a week early, as well as Iron Man 2, and if I heard it correctly, Inception 2 days early.

Haha damn you Foggy....!!! I'm envious of you, but that's awesome I'll see it in your honor at least once before the 19th

My facebook comment sparked another debate. In my mind, Star Wars and Indy aren't trilogies since there are 4 or more movies. Another good one is Back to the Future.

Back to the Future, my all time favorite movie

I do love that trilogy as well. Probably that, TS, and the first 3 Indy movies are my favorite. Because they all have a beginning and am end. The SW OT is up there too, but I've lost a lot of love for it since the prequels because of the altercations on the dvd....

I'm in the exact same boat. I felt like this movie grew with me and I also rank the movies 3>1>2. I have watched the first two more than 50 times each growing up - amazing trilogy!

I would go in the order of 3-1-2. I loved all parts so far and part 3 is the greatest I've seen in 2010. Toy story 3 brings to life more adventures. The final scene is very touching and emotional.

It's neck-and-neck between 1 and 3; perhaps it's just because I'm so hyped up on my viewing of 3 from yesterday, but it got my vote. 2 is a stupendous addition to the trilogy, but my least favorite (Woody is cut from the gang for too long in it, and Al, the toy collector, is a very grating presence).
