Default Help with this

Could someone tell me where i could find a list of all the compatible games for my ps3? I use to have one for my xbox 360, but i cant seem to find a ps3 one, i want to get some of my older games again, like crazy taxi, the original tony hawks just stuff i use to play wit my guys, so if anyone could help me itd be great!

40G will only play PS3 games. It won't play PS1 and PS2 discs. Sorry.

No luck for you. You need either the 20GB, the 60GB or the 80GB to play PS2 games. No firmware update will make it compatible. Go exchange your PS3 if it is that important to you.

Actually I think the 40GB PS3 still supports full software emulation of PS1 games. There's just no support for PS2 games (for now) on the 40GB unit.

If backward compatibility with PS2 games is a major issue, I'd wait a little while before pulling the trigger on a 20/60/80GB unit, though, as it is possible Sony will add this feature in a future firmware update.

A little patience won't hurt, and worse comes to worse, you can buy a separate PS2 to play your PS2 games, since they're so inexpensive now.

If you go the PS2 route, look out for the new model releasing in the next few months probably.
