I wonder if Past Lives (which I’ve seen) is “too small” and Flower Moon might be too long for some voters (apparently was an issue with Irishman which I think is a top 5 Scorsese film) on ranked ballots. I’ll say Oppenheimer, feel like Dune 2 is a real threat if it’s as good or better than the first- the academy clearly loved the first and could be a Return of the King type thing.

The IMAX showings of Oppenheimer are selling out fast! If it opens strongly, it's going to become the clear frontrunner and perhaps will get the most nominations
