Just To Let You All Know There Are 2 Guitars On The Market For Playstation 3 That Are Sold Seperatly For Gh 3 Both Are About 59.99. I Saw One At Best Buy Last Night And One At Target Both Where From Different Manufactures

cathexist i took your advice and played rock band. im sorry to say but the guitar is the most boring thing i have ever played. its so slow and its not that intune with the song. the only thing i am jealous about is the dlc.. i know what is coming next the drums are great well if i wanted to play drums i would petition guitar hero to make a drum hero..

What difficulty did you play? The RB guitar is a bit easier than GH, but not to the level you discribe.

Also, why bother wanting a "Drum Hero"? So you can buy both DH and GH seperately instead of just buying RB? Makes little sense.

im just saying eveyone justifies rock band with the drums that was my point with the rock band comment.. this post was to inform gh users that seperate guitars are for sale not to hear about rock band.. i play on medium 4 to five stars on all. RB guitar seems to be very slow i played it on medium and i though it was slower then the easy on gh and hard on RB was still alot slower then medium is on gh

Very well put. A Drum Hero is just stupid. Plus in Rock Band you get to play Bass and Guitar. Thats 2 for the price of 1. You can't beat that.

Oh it's definitely easier than Guitar Hero...the only challenging tracks there are for me were Green Grass and High Tides and Working Man by Rush.

If you're playing alone GH3 is great (I just had so many problems with the basic game design), I got a PS2 again simply to play GH2 and GH1 again, so I'm definitely a fan...but activision screwed up a lot of things in GH3.

Rock Band is an amazing game to play with more people, which is why I'm waiting for another guitar, so we can have all 4 parts going.

And as you say, the DLC is an amazing option, especially with 200 songs on track for 2008...

I didn't see a release date, but in the new issue of the Official Playstation Magazine, at CES www.nyko.com will have a guitar that plays on BOTH GH3 and Rock Band. It comes with a switch box that looks like a guitar pedal, and you use this to switch between the two. It is shaped like the Gibson Explorer.

Hey people. Just a question, I own GH3 and its the first one ive played and I see people saying they messed up with GH3 compared to 1 and 2. Can someone just explain how? I think its a great game. Just curious

I think the 3rd party guitars use 2.4 ghz technology. Not nearly as nice/reliable/consistant as blutooth.

From what I've read [not experienced]. GH3 has alot of oddities like notes that don't really match anything in the song for increasing difficulty. And a greater allowance for when to strum.

But I really don't know.

Prob, because they do have the one for PS2 and it specifically says GH, GH2 and GH3.
