I know that many people use Steam now days, but I occasionally buy PC games from Amazon and Wal-Mart as well.
It's pretty fun going to Wal-Mart and browsing the PC games section. There's a lot of hidden object mystery games there, games that you might never have discovered otherwise. Amazon sells PC games, new and used. That's how I buy PC games. I use Steam, Amazon or Wal-Mart. Steam is very convenient, but as antiquated as it may sound, I honestly still prefer to own a physical disc. Wal-Mart really doesn't have many PC games anymore, it's a limited selection. I suppose this is because most PC games are bought and sold online now days. Where do you buy PC games? |

Mostly GoG these days for all the classics, Steam for the occasional new game, and Origin when series go on sale. I can't remember ever buying anything off of Uplay. I might start looking into Epic's new store soon, and haven't gotten anything off of Humble after they got greedy and tried to become a major storefront rather than a "humble" supporter of indies/charity.
I used to buy everything on Steam but I hate the new (current) UI. |

usually its steam or humble bundle for my digital game needs, but sometimes you want a specific physical title or an older title. for those times i've used amazon, newegg, ebay. even local thrift stores carry an occasional old game. flea markets and yard sales too.
but the days of game stop, best buy, and staples having any real amount of physical pc games in stock are mostly gone. |

I used to buy pc games from origin or steam but lately I tried to play virtual reality games. It's something more specific but it's also much more interesting to play as for ( but costs more then usual pc games)

Steam for the most part. But, the Epic Games Store has some killer sales quite frequently. Additionally, Epic gives out big AAA for free very often. Recent examples are GTA5, Borderlands handsome collection, Ark etc etc

I've purchased a couple games from Steam but not recently, and sometimes I've bought PC games from Walmart or EB Games. Other than that, F2P MMORPGs were usually downloaded directly from the official website.

I used to try and get them from retailers, either
Ironic though that when Steam first came around I tried to avoid them like the plague. Now they're the standard of what I think a gaming service and launcher should be. |
