22 views no response, please tell me i am not the only one that saw this! ryan reynolds as 3 different characters, plus a story line that plays out like a book leaving most of the imagining and explaining to you. hope this gets its day on blu.

I've never heard of it. I dig Ryan Reynolds though, I'll have to check it out.

came out last tuesday i believe, his 3 characters are :

hollywood star who gets in trouble for smoking crack and wrecking his car (his 911 call after he smoked it had me in tears)
a writer creator of a reality tv show
a video game creator developer.

it gets really surreal at times and is about the relationship between creator and creation, actor and role, etc......

Is he just the cast, or is this his creation?

honestly explaining this movie makes me feel like trying to explain the tv series lost to someone whos never seen it, you start talking about hatches, cursed numbers, and a button you push to save the world, and all you get in return is weird looks.

i will say not everyone will LOVE this movie but i would recommend it 100% and its gotta be the weirdest most original flick i've seen in some time.

i think the guy who wrote/directed it, and who one of the characters is based on, also wrote or had something to do with donnie darko

My wife got this in yesterday from netflix. I couldn't get into it at all and stopped watching a bit more than half way through.
She really enjoyed it though and of course told me that it got better when I left...

It was hard for me to follow at first but I forced myself to tough it out and then I watched it a second time just to wrap my mind around it.

Oh, I meant the Nines.. got that one in yesterday.

I love Darko... needed to watch it several times as well and like it more and more. I should try and get a hold of the Director's Cut at some point.

I know how that feels (watching something and not be able to remember where the connection to something else is, although you know it)
It's probably one of those things, when you wake up at 3am and get the A-HA! moment when your partner gets all worried while you just lay back down and fall right back to sleep...

I am very eager to watch Richard Kelly's Southland Tales even if most reviews where not that good.
Also his next project "The Box" seems pretty interesting!

I watched it too and it was okay. Kind of confusing. In my opinion it's not worth buying on Blu-ray though.
