scarletlion Special Member Member since:Feb 2017 Location:Wales, Europe 4K collection:37 Blu-ray collection:343 DVD collection:8	The Eight Mountains (2023) Anybody else seen 'The Eight Mountains' ? This is the new film from Felix van Groeningen (The Broken Circle Breakdown) and his wife Charlotte Vandermeersch. It is in theatres now and is absolutely beautiful. It charts the friendship of two young boys over a time span of about 25 years as they grow up and find their true calling living in the Italian alps. The landscape plays a huge part in the film and some of the shots are stunning. It's quite long at 2 and a half hours but is worth it. Hopefully a Blu-Ray arrives soon.
