I only hope you realize that the earlier Bond movies won't look like Casino Royale?!

Give it time; they can't release every single movie within a year. It's not like Blu-Ray will disappear soon.

The 4K digital restoration they did a few years ago of the earlier Bonds should transfer really well (if they sort out some of the colour timing and framing issues they had with the ultimate edition DVDs)

I saw a digital projection of Goldfinger last year, struck from the restored master, and it looked stunning: no print damage, amazing saturated technicolor colours and stunning detail (you can see where they've taped Connery's toupee to his head!)

Hopefully we'll get some when Quantum of Solace is released

im only 20, but i still kind of like that the old movies look older, with specks, etc. on the screen. i just bought the mgm 7 pack, 7 pack, and 6 pack of the first 20 movies for 120 total, and im more than happy with them even tho they arent high def.

luckily, by the time they DO release the rest of the bonds on blu (probably 5 plus years, except for maybe the brosnan ones which could come with quantum of solace), ill want them in high def.
