![]() I've seen 2 Indian films in the past week and both times was the sole person in the theater. It's especially bad as Double Ismart was the first time they've played one of the films on their larger screens. The movie itself is a mixed bag. I found it to be the least entertaining Indian film I've seen theatrically. There is some decent action but the film felt really long. It's also the first Indian film I can think of where I didn't care for any of the song/dance numbers. There is a bizarre subplot involving a primitive man from the Amazon jungle that has nothing to do with the rest of the film. He is briefly shown in the trailer. They gave him ridiculously large ears and he makes monkey sounds throughout his appearances. The film is a little over 2 1/2 hours but still had a 10 minutes intermission. Has anyone else noticed that the volume on Indian films seems to be about double that of other movies? |
