I still haven't watched the other UK UHD of this! Saw it in IMAX that year, though, which made me ascend into heaven.

It could be a better disc because the first 4K UHD from the UK must be OOP.

I ended up importing the Japanese 4K to get better audio options (and HDR before Funimation replacement programme), but the remixed Hypersonic track sounded worse than the previous version on the UK BD. I seriously doubt they will go 'back' to that previous mix but I would be absolutely delighted if they did. None of the new audio options compare to it.

Separately, and I expect nothing here either, but a fresh scan with evidence that this is a film would be very welcome. I really like the colours of the UHD but overall, I prefer the feel of the old slightly grubby Blu-ray to the vigorously scrubbed 4K.

Being very cautiously optimistic… but I can’t imagine this transfer will differ much from the already released 4Ks … if they are just given the same DNR’d mess.

Unless they advertise something new, it's a safe bet it's an identical transfer to the other 4K releases.

I can live with the transfer but the borked audio on the UK/US disc is too much. People can hate the new mix all they want, but when you then get some bizarrely neutered downmix of it that just compounds the issue. I hope these guys fix that at least.
