Thought this might be a thread worth making.
I recently have found movies for years (way to many) I put off buying on even the first of the current 3 physical media forms, not even DVD watches have been made by me on the following - and its time to jump in. Back to the Future trilogy - WTF? Where have I been. Many leaps have been made obviously and correct my title I never even saw these in HD cable, but early 00's many times, and of course VHS. Now as my own disclaimer I do own these as of last year on DVD (Still cannot remember the purchase) but did not watch them - but today thought I would, but instead I'll be buying the ultimate trilogy on 4k. Which I'm glad comes with the blu rays, more for fun. Planet of the Apes films up to the remake. I have never seen an Apes film on DVD or Blu Ray except Burtons, and of course the newest trilogy. I plan to change that with the collection (I think its like a 50 year 9 movie collection) 2001 : A Space Oddyssey - again another popular film that I only watched on TV which I'm sure was dubbed down that would have been in my High School years 2004-2008, and I'm almost positive it was not an HD verison. So...yeah I admit I've maybe missed out, 2001 and BTTF movies are all highly regarded on 4k so this shall be fun, and Apes might be funny (the sequels with well, a certain charm). Anyone else have movies they've skipped multiple times on physical media or even digital? Thanks! ![]() |
