Default Panny, Are you listening?

Panny, Are you listening?

Dear Panasonic,

I am 90% happy with your DMP BD30 player. However I have 2 criticisms that would make it perfect for many of us.

In order of importance to me:
1) The power button and the tray open button are opposed to their logical position. Directly above the tray is the power button. on the other side of the player is the tray open button. Am I the only person to think that this is counter-intuitive? I don't think so. I can't tell you how many times I've attempted to open the tray, only to have the unit power off. This is MOST frustrating.

2) The width of the player is more than the standard for stereo/video equipment. This makes my setup look off balanced. Please put future players on a diet.

Panasonic,,,, I truly love my Blu-ray Player, and I am very happy that I've invested in it. I know that this player is not the final unit that you will put to market, so my criticisms are to help you develop a player that the masses can use and be happy with. I only wish that my next Panasonic Blu-ray player will be the best.

Others here,,, am I right, or am I blowing smoke from some orifice that shouldn't be mentioned? My asbestos underwear is in place and ready for flames.
