Which Underworld was released to BD first? - Blu-ray Forum

just wondering if anyone can help me.

in the usa which came out on blu first underworld 1 or 2.

the pq on both is stunning but i noticed 1 is avc and 2 is mpeg2 does this mean that sony done the encode for 2 first as it doesnt make any sence why the went from avc to mpeg 2.

one of the better launch titles too. we can't help but wonder how much better Evolution would have looked if it was encoded in AVC on a BD50.

Underworld 2 came out first.

Just to let you know this site tells you the release date of all Blu-ray titles in the US.

Looking forward to the third installment which is supposed to take place in the past when the Vampire and Lycan war begins. It’s a real treat to have the horror genre taken with such regard and high quality for once.

Just watched the UK edition of Evolution. There is no PCM track, it's says Dolby Digital 5.1 on the case and the menu but plays a DTS sound track

As it looks like the US version is region free then I'd advise getting that version if anybody is looking to purchase.
