Yeah, I remember that cover from the VHS when I was a kid.

Thought it looked soooo cool.

I really hope they use it and not the crap Hong Kong poster.

I don't know if that poster belongs to Warner? I never really liked it myself - interesting how it was not used for the DVD.

They probably considered it old-fashioned now that everything is photo-shopped images.

The US laserdisc and VHS had different artwork again.

Hate to break your hearts guys but if they continue down the path set by the previous 4 Jackie releases, you will be getting the HK poster on reverse and the newly commissioned artwork on the slip and cover. I understand the nostalgia reasons for liking that UK VHS cover but it's not a great poster. It looks like a bad attempt at framing Jackie as Bruce, ripped as f*ck.

Personally I love the HK posters on reverse, all of my releases get flipped to that artwork.

I don't think i have ever seen this Jackie Chan film before if i had it was so long ago don't remember much about it though.

Except this one wasn't a Chinese language film, so it would be weird to have a Chinese language poster as the reverse cover.

Sure you can use that argument how ever you want
It wasn't a UK film there fore it shouldn't have the UK poster art as the reverse. Also Jackie did take the film back to HK and make his own version and it did get a release in HK

I honestly don't care about what they use for the art as long as we get Jackie's HK cut of the film. Really hoping 88 can come through on that.

Thats not bad news, i liked the first 44 88 film release, new art with original HK poster art, better than the naff west art used back in the day!
