Erin Brockovich question - Blu-ray Forum

So i'd like to get rid of my HD DVD and get the Blu-Ray import.

I see the Universal only has the rights to it in the US and Sony is the rest of the world. What are the chances of us getting an import from somewhere else other than Japan and it being playable in Region A?

Anyone?

Depends on Culver City actually. That's SPHE (Sony Pictures). They have to determine if that's a title that's worth releasing on BD. If the market is viable, they'll start working on it.

Region A are the Americas, Japan, South East Asia. FYI.
