Didn't see a thread so I hope Mods won't delete this thread because I wanted to know if the UK version is censored because the runtime mentioned here is 101 minutes while the US release by Severin Films is 105 minutes.

I am asking because sometimes we see a time difference that is on paper but both are identical in length. This is the UK release I am asking about

I watched it once and sold it, wasn't a big fan of the movie. But it was one of the most explicit non-hardcore movies I've seen so I really doubt that anything was censored. Of course this is just an impression.

Thanks for the info. How was the transfer? Any ideas if it is the same transfer that Severin used for their US release?

Unfortunately I don’t recall exactly as I watched it among a dozen Francos. Don’t know if same as Severin.

Thw UK release is shit in terms if extras with NONE, not even a trailer, whereas the Severin release has loads of extras including In the Land of Franco, Part 3: Málaga with Stephen Thrower & Special Guest Antonio Mayans & the LE includes the Daniel J. White: In the Land of Franco, Vol. 1 compilation CD. Basically the Severin release is the way to go.

Yeah he made hundreds of movies and in a short time. I am not a Franco fan per say but I remember some parts and bits of Miss Romay in this. I think this is borderline porno.

Thank you. I am not Uncle Jess fan and only want to see this movie for the beautiful Lina Romay for the obvious reasons and UK release might be a cheaper import since Severin is sold out and oop but I will try to find at a reasonable price. However do you have any idea if both having the same transfer or different? If it's different than I have to find Severin because their release would be ultimately when it's about pic quality.

PS: There is one 4k version by NSM Records for Germany but I find no review whatsoever. No screen comparison or anything. Not sure if its German dubbed or having original audio so if you know about that please do share that also. Thanks.

I ONLY have the LE Severin release. Said release also includes 13 mins of Very NSFW Outtakes (which I'm assuming are the porn inserts from the French version) among the extras. Basically the Sevenrin release includes nearly 3 & a half hours of extras.

Thank you so much for the detailed info. I bought the Severin release. Found it at reasonable price brand new sealed. The LE is around 50 dollars and I am not even sure if my customs gonna let this pass so I just ordered the Severin standard keepcase version. Thanks for guiding me. I had almost bought the UK version because it was very cost effective for me but as you mentioned Severin is the one to go. Really hope it passes through my local customs.

Not sure about PQ but the German UHD (which also includes a BD as well) has English, French (Original language) & German audio with optional German subs (presumably for the French audio). The extras are in French with German subtitles. ONLY the film is English friendly unless you can understand French or German.

Personally I think this film would be boring in any language. I watched the Severin release a few years ago and gave the film a 3/10. That said, since I'm a Franco fan I still ended up buying more than one release.

Thanks again. I read bad reviews in general for NSM Records transfers. I always prefer 4k but would be a very expensive import from Germany and I don't know anything how it looks.

Got it. Haven't watched it yet. Hope to watch soon. I have some vague memories of this movie. All I could remember is Miss Romay was so beautiful in this!
