I have ordered from Amazon Japan before. They have an English section since there are a lot of people ordering things from other countries.
You can get all their Blu-rays but I warn you, Anime Blu-rays have been known to cost over $400. I am not kidding...

I think there is an anime SERIES on Blu-ray in Japan, that runs at about $400. I am not kidding. It is a box set. Let me see if I can post a link.....

Here is one for ~$300.

And another that is not in the store but the cheapest "new & used" one is ~$600!!!
No kidding!

And again... This one is almost $400.

I could go on. there are LOTS of them. Be glad you do not live in Japan.
Plus, shipping still applies.

I really wish some people had been around back in the old days when anime and TV LDs cost $350 PER HALF SEASON, and that was before the $50 4-6 week shipping on them

I remember the good old days, where it was $40 for a 20 minute subtitled VHS. Box sets never existed and dubbed was cheaper than subbed, when they had it.
I am so glad that DVD got onto anime so quickly, it really lowered the price.

I've never really watched Anime, except for the Heavenly Sword Anime I downloaded from the Playstation Store. Why is it so damn expensive?

anime is expensive because making anime has a lot of costs to make it including licensing, importing, dubbing, etc. so anime becomes expensive considering how much effort is put into making them
