Description

I enjoyed the first film but I did think it was a little weird. Then again, I've always found the French weird.

I don't remember this one very well, but I remember it being more weird than the first one. The one thing that I do remember was that I really enjoyed Christoper Lee in this and seeing him speaking French without a dub was great.

I did buy the first one during the last Kino sale.

If I love it I will buy this when it drops a little.

Didn't even know there was another installment!

The second one is very different in style and tone. I'd say it's closer to Empire of the Wolves.

Looks great. Did you get a shipping notification? I ordered mine almost as it became live and haven't gotten a shipping notification. This has happened to me a few times already.

Shout seems to be off their game right now as far as shipping notices. I got my copy of My Bloody Valentine 4K out of the blue a few weeks ago. Never heard a peep from Shout. Nice surprise, but still kinda weird...

Mine arrived last week and I watched it over the weekend. Movie’s not as good as the first (the Saw-inspired cinematography and crap editing have not aged well), by a long shot, though it does have a fun second half/finale (pretty slick shootout too). Transfer seemed okay, lots of soft and garish lighting that makes it hard for this to look truly “great.” Extras, IIRC, seem to all be ported from the ancient DVD.

Once someone has this, can they confirm the subtitle options and that there are proper English subtitles for the French track and not just English SDH subtitles?
