A movie that is as familiar to you as your favorite home cooked meal.

One that you know inside and out, yet still feel all the emotional highs and lows, the humor and the excitement.

The kind you can put on when you are sad, or stressed, or just when you don't know what else to watch. A movie that you wrap yourself up in like a cozy blanket on a rainy day.

I was just looking at the IMDB reviews, and even those who gave it a 7/10 or 5/10 said it was funny. Seems like it does have it's fans.

My comfort food flick has changed over time...

It was Chef (Jon Favreau) but that is being quickly replaced by "Barb & Star go to Vista del mar"

I have old TV shows like that, like 'Andy Griffith', 'The Honeymooners', "Sanford and Son', and 'Three's Company'.

For movies, likely favorites I know by heart, like "GoodFellas", "Psycho" (1960), "Jaws", "Pulp Fiction", or "An American Werewolf in London".

Just things you can throw on and have on and the familiarity and nostalgia warm and envelop you.

I have a lot of programs like that around the holidays, old Christmas specials and things like that.

There's music like that, too. I totally get it.
