Do I need to be a member of Blu-ray.com to enter giveaways and contests?
Yes. However, membership is 100% free and provides you with access to all the customizable features and tools Blu-ray.com provides its membership. Members can completely turn off advertising, post in the forum, post movie and product reviews, comment on pages, join communities and social groups, manage their Blu-ray collection online, create a personal home theater gallery, upload photos, price track movies and products, see full 1080p screenshots, customize the site's layout, design, deal notices, functionality and much more. How are winners selected?
Winners are typically selected at random using a random integer generator program. Contests involving multiple entries per contestant require the use of a more complex randomization program.

How long do I have to claim my prize?
In most cases, winners are given seven full days to respond and claim their prize. After seven days, unclaimed prizes are awarded to other contest participants. In some cases, winners are given 72 hours to respond. Unclaimed prizes are handled in much the same way.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
No. Blu-ray.com covers all expenses associated with your prize.

How long will I have to wait to receive my prize?
That depends on the studio or PR firm involved, and when prizing is provided to Blu-ray.com. Typically, prizes arrive anywhere between street date and two weeks after a title's release. However, it sometimes takes longer. Every reasonable attempt will be made to keep winners posted on the status of their prizes.

Are members outside of the United States eligible to participate?

Be sure to read each contest's rules carefully. While many giveaways are open to all members, some giveaways are limited to U.S. residents or those with a U.S. mailing address available to them. Eligibility is dictated by the studios and PR firms, not Blu-ray.com, and differs on a case by case basis.

How long will it take to receive my prize once Blu-ray.com ships it to me?
U.S. winners can expect to receive their prize within 2-4 business days after receiving a shipping confirmation PM. Most packages ship from the East Coast. International shipments take longer, but we'll do our best to provide winners with an estimate.
