Lionsgate will be releasing Stir of Echoes (1999) on 4K UHD for its 25th Anniversary on December 10th! It will be released as an Amazon exclusive Steelbook with a lenticular slipcover.

Blue-collar family man Tom Witzky (Kevin Bacon) scoffs at supernatural phenomena -- until he lets his wife's sister, Lisa (Illeana Douglas), put him into a hypnotic trance. Upon waking, Tom realizes he has a psychic connection with his son, Jake (Zachary David Cope). He also has alarming hallucinations of a missing teenage neighbor named Samantha (Jennifer Morrison). Tom, convinced his visions will lead him to the girl, begins a desperate search that puts him into a life-threatening situation.

I was just watching a yt video about how Lionsgate titles were getting few and far between and now this. Kickboxer, Stir of Echoes. Hopefully The Arrival is next.

It's about bloody time. Great development. This was overdue. I wonder if the impending release of The Sixth Sense 4k helped push this title up the queue a bit....

It definitely ranks substantially higher than THE SIXTH SENSE for me. TSS remains a film of great style and performances but it’s crippled by what, for me, is the most logic-flawed script I’ve ever suffered through.
