Marantz's new 2024 CINEMA 30 11.4 Channel 140 Watts Per Ch. AV Receiver is fully capable for all of the latest technologies, here's a few examples: Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced, Auro 3D, 8K Ultra HD & HEOS music streaming and all 7 HDMI inputs and the 3 HDMI outputs are HDMI 2.1

Other very nice features are Bluetooth capable, HEOS, 8K compatible, Alexa voice control, Number of Audio Zones 3

Here's the link to our Marantz CINEMA 30 webpage with lots of additional information:

https://valueelectronics.com/product...-a-v-receiver/

Very nice 11.4 channel A/V receiver, but I wish it had 13.4 channels or more. 8K HDMI support is now common along with Auro 3D, DTS X, and Dolby Atmos.

Marantz's CINEMA 30 has 11 built-in amplified channels, but can decode 13 channels and also has RCA Pre-Outputs so you can add a 2-channel amplifier to make the CINEMA 30 13.4 Channel capable.

The Silver one looks so enticing.

its at $4500 which is a bit steep.

hopefully, it comes down to $3000 at some point.

@prerich, yes Marantz's new flagship CINEMA 30 can be used as a pre-amp/processor only. Check out the image of the back I posted above to see the "Pre-Out" RCA ports.

Oh I i know that it has pre-outs, but I'm wondering does it actually shut down the amplifier section period.

Literature (manual)
Quote:
"The selectable preamp mode can improve sound quality further by disconnecting any unused power-amp channels when external power amplifiers are being used."
Thanks
