I've owned both and, to my eyes at least, they look/sound identical. Much like Kino's release of Another Stakeout, it's pretty much a straight re-release of the same transfer.

I love the movie, so it was worth it for me to repurchase just for the commentary.

The commentary is what would be holding me back from purchasing the film through MillCreek's "Suspense 4-in-1 Collection" release that is going for cheap on eBay. The only problem is this Kino disc appears OOP and doesn't have anything cheaper than $30 that I can find.

One way or the other, if you want it I'd grab it now. Since it's owned by Disney these could very well be the last physical media releases it will ever get.
