Default Deadpool & Wolverine Canada Amazon???

Is there a thread for discussing Deadpool & Wolverine Steelbook Amazon Canada? I see it listed on Amazon Canada, but it says “Currently Unavailable.” I need to find out if it has sold out already or has not yet been made available. Ordering from Amazon US will make this ridiculously overpriced at $117 after conversion and shipping!

Damn it! Why did in never show up in the BD.com database? I was checking the search almost every day since the movie released in theatres. Once it finally appeared, it was already sold out?

Any leads on another cheaper option?

Not sure. I see it was also available at BB, though also sold out. US retailers have been going in/out of stock so best to check these regularly

What happened is probably the database entry took longer to be approved and it was sold out by the time it was updated.

Keep checking Best Buy.CA and Amazon.CA to see if they will restock.

You can also look at rarewaves: https://www.rarewaves.com/products/5...ook-1-deadpool

Flat shipping but the only problem is don't expect them to package it properly.

I tried to get the Wolverine featured steelbook from Best Buy Canada last night; it was sold out, but I was able to get the Deadpool one for $45 Cdn. When I looked this morning, they were all sold out. Got lucky!

Well, I locked in a DEEPDISCOUNT order just in case I can’t square away with a Canadian retailer. $50 USD is well worth the risk compared to the Amazon.com $117 price that forces import charges when there is no import charges for media coming into Canada.

Thanks for the leads guys! Much appreciated!

I may have worn out the refresh button on my laptop,
But managed to pre-order both steelbooks 3 times just hours before they sold out each time.

First was with Zavvi US at $59 CAD ea. (plus $15 international shipping)

Then they finally showed up on amazon.ca for just $45 ea.($33 USD) Score!
Within hours the price jumped to $67 and sold out shortly after.

Then someone here said it was on BestBuy.ca but I couldn’t find it in the steelbook section.
Put it into the search bar and both were there for $45, so placed my order for both. Sold out shortly after.

I’ve since cancelled the Zavvi pre-order.

Keeping both amazon and Best Buy orders in case amazon’s flimsy bubble mailer gets bent/crushed.
Best Buy always sends Steelbooks in a big box stuffed with air pillows, even for a single movie.

Ready for round 2 with Alien:Romulus

..already pre-ordered with Zavvi US ($59) sold out instantly.
Waiting patiently for amazon.ca and bestbuy.ca with a finger on the refresh button lol.

Didn't realize BB.ca still sold movies let alone Steelbooks? I guess I was under the impression BB stopped company wide not just in the US. Interesting.

Canada has been fortunate that Best Buy still carries physical. Otherwise we would be left with Amazon or WM. Even WM around here have started to shrink their physical presence. The biggest WM near me has completely removed their physical section.

Best Buy ONLINE carries physical media. Most stores have eliminated massive amounts of shelf space that used to house physical media.
