Surprised Troma isn't doing this one themselves.

Troma should’ve let Vinegar Syndrome do the 4K set of the Toxic Avenger films.

I’m assuming the cost sunk into that set didn’t turn much of a profit, if any at all considering how quickly it became half off on Amazon if you qualified for the Prime promotion.

Vinegar Syndrome did the 4K transfers of all four Toxic Avengers, it just wasn't a VS release

I know that. That being said, there would’ve been a better effort put forward and discs that actually worked rather than what we received instead.

Though I know some people did, I had no issues with mine…and it’s not like VS is infallible. Still…really looking forward to this! Just want the best presentation. Maybe they’ll start doing other Troma produced films as well.

VS wanted to release them. Troma did not want any other label releasing its flagship films on 4K.

Also, the disc issues didn't occur with the majority of customers.

My FAVORITE Troma movie! I'll definitely pick it up if a remastered Blu-ray copy is included.

I'll definitely take Sgt Kabukiman 4k, but it hurts to see Poultrygeist
( the greatest film EVER made ) & Terror Firmer & Tromeo and Juilet & the Nukem High trilogy take the back burner. Hopefully, those 6 come to 4k soon.

Sadly we no longer have Student Confidential.

Troma's War would make a great VS release. I can't imagine Troma giving up the Nuke 'Em films.

I'd love to see a great release of Troma's War. The existing Troma Blu-ray leaves much to be desired.

A reissue of Combat Shock with the features from the Severin release and lossless audio would be nice! Not sure how much a 4K would improve considering the source though.

I've only ever had this movie on DVD and I wonder which cut that was. Compared to Toxie it always struck me as a bit tame, but then, MPAA has it in for Troma so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the R-rated version.

The DVD had the Director's Cut.

Incidentally, I wouldn't mind if Troma did more PG-13 rated (action-)comedies. Kabukiman would've been a great film to start that lineup on.
