Echo Bridge was recently reorganized as a theatrical label, handling US distribution for a pair of recent films (a comedy with Michael Shannon and an Al Pacino film called The Pirates of Somalia). The provided link listed Echo Bridge so that's what I'm going by (and the mock-ups aren't usually exclusive to one company).

Funimation (who would seem like an unlikely distributor for this) was recently acquired by Sony but I don't know if they are using Sony's distribution like eOne does. They may be using different mock-ups in the near future if they merge their distribution network.

Sorry for the lame question, but will this release be available at Best Buy? I don't have any knowledge of the company releasing it. Been waiting impatiently for any news of a release for this show. I thought it was excellent and Tom Hardy was phenomenal as usual.

I'm glad this isn't Fox, means future seasons have a higher chance coming on Blu-ray. Though I don't know why BBC themselves didn't release it here

Fox didn't produce the show. Ridley Scott and Tom Hardy's companies did in a similar arrangement to how Hannibal was produced (The de Laurentiis Company, Gaumont, and one of Sony's international divisions produced the series independently by pre-selling airing and ancillary rights).

Does anybody know whether Hardy had this filmed in 25fps (which would explain the 1080i UK release) or in 24fps which would match the 1080p Echo Bridge release? I prefer to see it as it was meant to be seen, if possible. Thanks.

Odd. It's street date is listed here as Feb 6th. Just ran across it at my local Wally World, and I was wondering why I was taken by surprise to see it on the shelf.

On edit: By the way, Wally was selling it for $26.96, which is 55% off list price! And for those what care, it's 2 BDs and 2 DVDs, in each case double-stacked on a single hub. And it comes with a sleeve.
