Without shipping, the US currency exchange makes this steelbook at around $14.40 US.

Its listed on amazon Canada currently at 18.89.

i just preordered it on there and the total with shipping to the US was $22.26 US

I would guess that it's just a typo because of the listing just going up, and that will be dropping swiftly.

Unless this is actually a CA only release, and that's the price from "importing" it directly through Amazon's US site?? Like the SecondSight version of THE CHANGELING that was like 18 bucks on UK, but around 60 through the US site.

If you have a region free player, you can buy the Region B boxset for around $50. All five movies, a sixth disc of bonus features, a nice booklet, classy packaging...

I still have the widescreen collectors edition LaserDisc, the first film was great but honestly, everything after that was crap.

Too bad too because this story had so much potential.
