This seems to be a Best Buy exclusive according to other sites and the database listing here.

Anyways preordered.

I forgot if I have seen this or not. Watched the trailer, and I think I have.

Not digging that artwork. Will probably pass on this one.

Looking at the 4k disc thread for this, it seems pretty popular, so I’m glad it’s coming out for those interested.

I love the look and cncept of this steel, but I like my Zavvi steel better. I was thinking of getting the standard release and throwing the new discs in the steelbook, but the zavvi steel only has one disc seat.

Funny thing is I only need 2 of the 4 disc in the new set. I prefer the B&W version, so I won't really watch the 4k color version, and the blu-ray of the color version has all the features on it while the the B&W blu-ray only has a brief introduction on it and no real features.

Not sure what I should do!

Edit:
Standard release on Amazon: $34.99
Steelbook on Bestbuy: $26.99

Well thats a no-brainer!

Weird ass art but still, marginally, an improvement over the truly heinous standard 4K.

I have mixed felings about it. On one hand, it feels much closer in tone to the movie than the wide release does. On the other hand, if you ust look at the SB itself, it's a very dull design. I'm not really crazy about the slip either. I wish they could have properly replicted the Mist font from the posters.

Odd choice for a cover, for sure, but I do like the slip. Still think this is a great, underrated movie, so I'll look into picking it up for sure.

Yeah, I'm thinking the price of the standard edition will probably come down to around the same price as the steelbook, maybe a few dollars cheaper. I pre-ordered the steelbook, but if the standard goes down enough, I might pick it up and ebay the steel, since steelbooks can hold their value after they go OOP.

I like the movie, I like the Lionsgate SBs, and these best buys things always end up going for a lot more later on because scalpers suck

hmm I do like, but don't love this one. Was unfamiliar with the Zavvi version until you all brought it up, may have to see if that one can be tracked down at a reasonable price.

I find the store hours at the top of the steel very distracting. Cool slip though.

The movie is good for the most part but I have a hard time with the end. I'm not someone that needs everything to be shiny and happy all the time, but I felt it was unnecessary and would have preferred closer to King's ending for the book.

You're in for a tough search. I saw one for sale maybe two years ago for $60. I passed on it and haven't seen a copy anywhere near that cheap since. I would be bummed about it, but chose to buy the UK Ex Machina steelbook instead, and for less $.

Good luck, though. I hope you get one.
