Need Advice About Player/receiver Combo

Sorry if this is already posted somewhere. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Here goes... I just bought the pioneer elite 91 model. I need a blu ray player that can send all new audio over the analog outputs. I don't need it to already be decoded since the Pio can do that for me. My tv has no hdmi input and from what I understand, you can't go from hdmi to component. So I need a player that can send video through component and audio through analog to my 7.1 inputs on the receiver. From there the receiver will decode all new audio correct???? Sorry about the dumb questions, just seems like the more I read, the more I get confused
