I'm interested... but I'm waiting to see how much of an improvement there is over the previous Content Zone release, if any. Didn't the DI for this film go missing or something?

Remastered?

Hmm. The Content Zone blu-ray was better than the DVD, but I remember it had so much DNR applied to it that I personally found it impossible to watch without being distracted by it.

Even if this one is better - I'm not sure I can justify plonking down another $40 on it.

I'd like to see a decent All Region or Region A/B Blu-ray release with English subtitles that's under £20.

Is that too much to ask?!

Thanks for the link--quite a difference in the color timing for one thing.
Will probably pre-order this one.

Definitely better quality picture, but I don't like the color change. I don't really have the money right now to be spending on this anyways.

Thanks for the info Key!

Tough decision. I don't mind the CZ edition.
Like Jasonic said, the color looks off on the remaster.

But who am I fooling?
This is one of my favorite Korean movies and I'm sure I'll buy it again to go along with the two CZ versions I already have.

Hope the packaging is nice and the DC is included.

color timing on the new version looks more like the dvd no? But it also seems to have EE going by that video, might wait for actual screenshots before deciding.

Wow! The new color timing is really RED! The last shot, he's laying down on the ice, and the ice is glowing red in the shadow on the top of the frame! The old version, the ice looks like ice (blue) and the shadow looks like a shadow (gray to black).

The colour is off on the new release. The skin tones are now red, this is wrong also the highlights are now over blown. I will be keeping my old set.

Colour sucks on the new one. The ice looks so unnatural in the vid comparison. I'd hate to see what the other scene look like. Every Korean would have brown hair and a red face.

Edit, I just went to Novamedia's website and even though this has not been released yet, it says "SOLD OUT." Does this mean they are not taking any more pre-orders on this????

Wonder if they fixed the colour issues? Don't really want to be double dipping on this when I already have the first Blu-ray and this could also have ''issues''.
