Default Danny Boyle on Blu-ray

US releases

- His Fox films (28 Days Later - Trance) are all OOP on BD.
- 28 Days Later is completely unavailable in the US, the rights seemed to have lapsed. It was pulled from all streaming/digital outlets earlier this year.

Only available on foreign BD

- My understanding is that all streaming versions of A Life Less Ordinary are cropped to 1.78. I believe this German BD is the only way to get the film in HD in its OAR (2.35:1). The disc also adds two other versions in SD, as curiosities: SD 1.78 cropped version, SD 1.33 open matte version.
- Boyle directed the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. This BBC BD set presents it in its entirety.
- Boyle directed the pilot of the UK series Babylon. It has only been released on BD in Germany, like a number of UK shows, oddly.

UHD

Only available on DVD

- there is a Spanish BD of The Beach, using an HD rip from TV apparently. The disc is a bootleg in almost all countries outside Spain.
- Boyle's miniseries Trust is available for digital purchase in HD, but it's only on DVD on physical media

Only available on foreign DVD

- There is also a VERY rare, OOP British DVD of Vacumming Completely Nude in Paradise, which I own, which isn't in the database here. I looked up my 2016 order at Amazon UK and the page for the British DVD has been completely removed at Amazon UK. Beware, they only have a page for the American Koch disc, but with a photo of the UK disc. Best way to find the UK disc is eBay. It's a TV movie filmed on digital video at 25fps for PAL broadcast, if you can track it down, the UK DVD is superior to the American one.

- There are also British DVDs of Inspector Morse. Again, it was filmed at 25fps, so those probably look better than the US DVDs.

Streaming work
His miniseries PISTOL has not been released on physical media anywhere in the world. It was pulled from Hulu earlier this year, so there is no way to legally view it at the moment.

Danny Boyle has not written an autobiography, but he collaborated on this authorized biography. I highly recommend it. He's VERY honest.

For example, he talks about how he regrets cutting the Coldplay song "Fix You" from the finale of Sunshine at the last minute, because he listened to naysayers who said it was too on the nose. It would have made that masterpiece even more sublime.

The book is FILLED with stories like that.
