Nice write up. I pre-ordered this during the Deep Discount sale a few weeks ago but haven't received it yet.

Hopefully they'll release the Princess and the Warrior (another Tom Tykwer and Franka Potente team-up).

Nice thanks for the Review.. the DVD look particulary bad on my Projector. There's lot of white spec (dot) and it was really middle road for a DVD. I'am glad that Sony seemed to got a new master or retransfered the film! A Sure buy from me!

Sweet!!! This dvd really needed a highdef update. The dvd version had some crazy pixelation throughout.

Nice write up! I pre-ordered it too through deep discount. Im not gonna hold my breath on it. I also preordered We Own the Night which came out this week and still haven't received it. Just got the email that they finally shipped it today and I should expect it in 5-10 days. So it will be a while before RLR shows up!

I watched this on cable the other night and was blown away.

I remember seeing it when it first came out in theaters and liking it.

But it's a film that has really aged well over time.

...was the ending all a dream?

This has been part of my Blu-ray collection for quite a while now. Really enjoyed it. In fact, it may just be time to give it another spin.

I remember there being some concerns with regards to the colour timing being incorrect, when the BD was first released. Turns out that the BD matches the German DVDs, with only the Sony DVD being wildly different.

It's currently on sale at Amazon and Best Buy for $5.99. I've never seen it for less than $10 until now so that's quite a deal.
