Have you seen the American Gangster TV commercial?

Have any of you seen the TV commercial? I was watching Spike TV a few nights ago and the commercial came up and at the end of the ad it goes something like this:

"Buy this February 19 on DVD"

So I am thinking why not mention "on High definition HD-DVD"? The logo for HD-DVD appeared at the bottom of the screen. I wouldn't hold my breath to wait for the other remaining studios to jump ship, but I guess its becoming noticeable to lack of small interest their support is showing.

They've done this with quite a few HD DVD titles (and Blu-ray titles). There's nothing to read into.

I agree I just simply don't watch as much TV and I just made on observation. I am not desperately hoping for a change.

Ya, I've noticed this on Blu titles as well (mainly from Fox). Disney and Sony always heavily promote the Blu in the ad.

Of course, at this stage, Uni needs to be making sure to heavily promote the DUD version too. I wouldn't read into it, but just another stupid move on the DUD side.

The only thing to read is that after A.G. They only list Fletch as coming on HD DVD from Universal

In France, nearly all our TV commercials specifically mention something in the line of "available in DVD and Blu-ray" or "enjoy it in high definition in Blu-ray disc".

I don't remember seeing any commercial for red titles specifically mentioning HD DVD since ages.
