Hahah. I bought 3 copies during the Zavvi sale because it was only 5 dollars more than just buying one. Was planning on selling the other two. Of course this happens right after it ships.

That's right. An international thread for an international release that was released by someone other then Sony.

I will totally admit that I was wrong if this turns out to be the same light cannon as the UK release. (even if above is just marketing blech)

The iTunes version doesn't have Dolby Vision yet. So a fresh grade.

I can't remember the name of that streaming service that offers 60Gb+ files size Keinscape or something (?), but that version looks like the eOne version though, with its shaprness.

Also nice to see Sony finally embraced Dolby Vision.

Doesn't mean that they didn't just run the current HDR grade through the Dobly-O-Matic though, there's a profile that's literally designed to take an HDR10 version and Dobly-fy it. And the bit about it being "reviewed" by the filmmakers is an interesting choice of words, which would seemingly point to them looking at a pre-existing version.

Can't wait for you to get it though and get those caps up. It's gonna be a laugh if it's basically the same as the Universal/eOne version.

Haven't seen this one yet and remember being annoyed when one of the Hot Tub Time Machine movies revealed a spoiler at one point as a random line in the movie.

One of my favorite movies of the last 10 years! I'll probably upgrade (the Blu-ray presentation is already great), but I will upgrade for sure if there's a Steelbook.

100% thats how it had to go down History suggests if you got Rian and Yedlin in a room supervising a grade of Looper you wouldn't end up with this...

MaxCLL: 1692 cd/m2
MaxFALL: 732 cd/m2

Personally I'm peachy if they merely approved a finished master. And if it's Sony's across the board.

p.s I think way more "DV" movies get that automatic treatment than some on here get. I'm thinking Paramount for one. Disney for whenever they actually put DV out. And on their streams, whatnot.

Damnit, of course this is Dolby Vision and Atmos, the UK 4K version released back in July that I bought was HDR10+ and the old DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio track. Still looks and sounds great, but may have to double-dip on this.

I won't laugh exactly, but I will survive. I see a 50:50 chance of something more subtle and want the slip, so won't wait. I'll laugh, if it's the same, but no slip.
