Wow, great news seeing this coming to 4K! Steelbook itself looks great. I'm a bit mixed on how big they made the title on the clear slip, since it obstructs so much of the art, and it really doesn't need to be that big.

Agreed. Really nice artwork that's completely covered by the film's title. Regardless, will definitely be picking this up. This movie is a total banger.

I miss the Best Buy days when a Lionsgate steelbook like this would have been no more $25. When Hell or High Water came out at Best Buy it cost exactly $21.19. These movies were made only two years apart and by the same writer so why so much more for Wind River? Ever since Walmart started selling Lionsgate steelbooks the price has increased significantly. I absolutely love Wind River but at $34.96 plus $7.00 shipping it's hard to justify spending $41.95 for a steelbook. Hopefully this one gets a regular slipcover edition.

who knows why they price things how they do, there seems to be no rhyme or reason for it.
that said, even some Lionsgate steels get priced this high initially and if they eventually restock or are reprinted, they come back at a lower price. of course, the issue there is you never know when or if it'll be restocked or reprinted down the line, it's a gamble. I just preorder when it goes up, don't want to risk it. if something becomes limited and never restocks, I save myself money not paying something crazy on the secondary market.

also, with Walmart when something is priced at $34.96 add a pack of gum for a dollar to reach the free shipping threshold.
