It's a classic 80s flick. A lot of fun, but not sure most people would say it's one of the greatest of all time.

It's a Guardians of the Galaxy / Marvel reference.

The movie, and Kevin Bacon are mentioned a few times in different movies, and especially a holiday special. Here's the first instance (~1:17 in)

February 22 2024 is a Thursday that can't be a correct release date
USA films physical media releases is always on a Tuesday

USA Amaray has a release date Tuesday February 13 2024

yeah he's definitely joking but totally forgot the references in GOTG. I thought it was a reference to one of the songs in the soundtrack.

Footloose is an 80s feel good movie, cheesy but fun movie, might not be everyone's cup of tea. I would put it up there as one of the best upbeat pick me up non comedy movies. Killer 80s soundtrack too btw!

I've been wanting a steelbook for this so glad its coming.

Now that that people mention it, it came from Infinity War when Starlord and Spider-man talk and Starlord asks if it's still the greatest movie ever and Spider-man says it was never was before Ironman steps in to end it and says don't encourage him.

Also Thor mentions the Avengers... "Earth's mightiest heroes" were guarding the Time and Mind Stones and then Mantis said like Kevin Bacon?

apparently there are Footloose references throughout multiple Marvle Movies. Someone attached a clip that GOTG referenced. I will have to go back to Infinity War to check out that reference too. I guess people involved in making some of these Marvel movies must like Footloose.

yeah its Paramount so the major retailers, maybe minus Best Buy now, will have it. Its a matter of which retailer will have it the cheapest.
