At first I thought this was another thread about culling movies from our collections. LOL.

Now that I think about the trailer I saw for this, must be a ton of 2k VFX in this film, was the box office really that good to get a 4K release?

It’s not even in theaters yet here in the US. I think it starts playing around Christmas.

Wow, you're right. If the box-office is tepid, wonder if a 4K will hold on, or get cancelled like a couple others? Guess i'm too pessimistic, I just think Star Wars is going to c r u s h a bunch of other releases for 4 - 6 weeks.

Sweet was hopin this would get 4k, looks like it will really be a fun movie. Now lets hope its a good quality copy worthy of buying.

This one looks interesting. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids was one of my favorites as a child and so this one kind of brings back that theme to a degree with some nostalgia.

Downsizing aka story of Damon's career over the last five years minus a couple of bright spots (Martian? Bourne? Five minutes of Interstellar?). I miss when Matt Damon movies were can't-miss, rather than avoid-at-all-costs.

I saw this last week. To my surprise the movie had quite a bit of grain to it.....almost to the point it was distracting. I'm now wondering how this is going to look on 4K.
