Default HAUNT (Blu-Ray) Ronin Flix - October 22, 2020

HAUNT (2019), the “grisly horror gem*” from the writers of
A Quiet Place and producer Eli Roth, is getting the star treatment from Ronin Flix with a new 2 Disc Collector’s Edition Blu-ray just in time for Halloween

New 2 Disc Collector’s Edition Blu-ray will include the original CD soundtrack by tomandandy, movie poster reproductions, enamel pins and more

Now on Blu-ray for the First Time

STREET DATE: October 22nd, 2020

Ronin Flix, in partnership with Momentum Pictures, is releasing a new 2 Disc Collector’s Edition Blu-ray of the “grisly horror gem*” from the writers of A Quiet Place and producer Eli Roth, HAUNT (2019), just in time for Halloween. Available on Blu-ray for the first time, the commemorative 2 disc set will treat fans to the Original CD Soundtrack by tomandandy, four 16” x 20” movie poster reproductions, a 16” x 20” reproduction of the haunt map, six enamel pins featuring the eerie costume masks worn by the villains in the film, four 2” x 3 ½” replica VHS box-style magnets, and over 5 hours of special features including a NEW To Escape the Haunt: The Making of HAUNT featurette. A single disc version will also be available.

Ronin Flix is proud to add HAUNT (2019) to it’s roster of fan favorites as its third Blu-ray release, following a highly praised first release of HARDWARE. With two new HAUNT (2019) Blu-ray editions available for pre-order exclusively at roninflix.com as of October 1, 2020, the safest way to celebrate Halloween this year will be at the HAUNT!

“Scares are plentiful and run a gamut, making good use of the
various creepy, claustrophobic, icky and unpleasantly surprising frights of an inventive haunted-house attraction.” - Dennis Harvey, Variety

“Convincingly creepy while also slightly thought-provoking,
it warns about deceiving facades, because what hides underneath masks is possibly much worse.” - Carlos Aguilar, Los Angeles Times

HAUNT (2019): On Halloween, a group of friends encounter an "extreme" haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some nightmares are very real.

Awesome, sounds like a nice release. Will the blu ray come with a slipcover?

Ah, at least there's a cheaper standard version available. The $54.99 version on the main page threw me off.

Edit: Eh screw it, after getting over the initial price shock... I went with the Collector's Edition. It is a pretty good movie, and I sold a couple of old Blu-rays earlier today for profit that covered this.

That collectors edition is HOT, but the total cost to import to Canada...I’ll probably stick with the standard lol

That set looks gorgeous, but a little too blue for my blood at the moment. Unless it drops in price, I'll probably invest in the standard edition.

I went with a standard version. That Collector's Edition looks NICE but I can't swing it. Maybe in November but right now I just want a copy by release day.

I was initially going to just get the standard version also, but i decided to go with the Limited edition instead. I figured i would regret it later, if i didn't.

Hey Ronin Ent, does the LE have the other standard edition poster art on the reverse sleeve?

No, it doesn’t. It has the track listing for the CD.

If I were to buy this film, it would be a blind buy, but I loved "The Houses October Built," (Part 1, that is, not so much Part 2), and from what I've read of the plot, "Haunt" seems to be in a similar vein. For those who have seen both, in your opinion, is "Haunt" better, worse, or basically the same, in quality, as THOB?

I would put The Houses October Built, Haunt and Hell Fest all on the same level, I loved all three.

I thought The Houses October Built 2 was a disappointing follow up to the first movie.

I ordered the standard. I don't really need the extra swag but I appreciate the time and hard work put into this awesome little film. I'm glad the US is finally able to get this on Blu-ray.

This is also my first RoninFlix order too!

I love Hell Fest. If it got a release like this Limited Collector's Edition that Haunt is getting, man, that would be sweet.

At least it got a 4K UHD release, but unfortunately, almost nothing in terms of extras.

According to the Ronin Flix website it's Region A.

Agreed, i thought it was incredible, one of the best slasher movies in ages.

Somehow, I completely missed that this is a Shudder Original film, and since I have Shudder, I decided, logically, to watch it before buying. I do really, really like it, but I'm not sure if I love it enough, at this point, to pay the Collector's Edition price, and I also spent a large amount of money (over $200) on Blu-rays last night, including Ronin's "I Spit On Your Grave" box set and Scream Factory's reissue of the first "Vincent Price Collection," and several others. I think that I'm going to have to let "Haunt" pass me by, at least for this month. Hopefully, I can get it later if it doesn't sell out first. I also have the SF "Friday the 13th" set coming this month, so with that, and all of my other purchases last night too, I will be fairly immersed in horror movies for almost the entirety of October! For serious lovers of "Haunt" though (which I may end up being, given another watch), that is one very nice Collector's Edition!

I'd love to have a fancy special edition of Haunt but i'm in the UK where it didn't even get a blu ray. I imported the Blu from Germany.

OK, the trailer convinced me to get this but it'll have to wait until I get my replacement credit card, which I lost a while ago. The boobs at the cc company didn't put my apartment number on the first mailing so naturally I never got it and had to start the 7-10 process all over again
