Ah, at least there's a cheaper standard version available. The $54.99 version on the main page threw me off.
![]() Edit: Eh screw it, after getting over the initial price shock... I went with the Collector's Edition. It is a pretty good movie, and I sold a couple of old Blu-rays earlier today for profit that covered this. ![]() Last edited by Katatonia; 10-02-2020 at 02:45 AM. |

If I were to buy this film, it would be a blind buy, but I loved "The Houses October Built," (Part 1, that is, not so much Part 2), and from what I've read of the plot, "Haunt" seems to be in a similar vein. For those who have seen both, in your opinion, is "Haunt" better, worse, or basically the same, in quality, as THOB?

I would put The Houses October Built, Haunt and Hell Fest all on the same level, I loved all three.
I thought The Houses October Built 2 was a disappointing follow up to the first movie. |

I ordered the standard. I don't really need the extra swag but I appreciate the time and hard work put into this awesome little film. I'm glad the US is finally able to get this on Blu-ray.
This is also my first RoninFlix order too! |

Somehow, I completely missed that this is a Shudder Original film, and since I have Shudder, I decided, logically, to watch it before buying. I do really, really like it, but I'm not sure if I love it enough, at this point, to pay the Collector's Edition price, and I also spent a large amount of money (over $200) on Blu-rays last night, including Ronin's "I Spit On Your Grave" box set and Scream Factory's reissue of the first "Vincent Price Collection," and several others. I think that I'm going to have to let "Haunt" pass me by, at least for this month. Hopefully, I can get it later if it doesn't sell out first. I also have the SF "Friday the 13th" set coming this month, so with that, and all of my other purchases last night too, I will be fairly immersed in horror movies for almost the entirety of October! For serious lovers of "Haunt" though (which I may end up being, given another watch), that is one very nice Collector's Edition!

OK, the trailer convinced me to get this but it'll have to wait until I get my replacement credit card, which I lost a while ago. The boobs at the cc company didn't put my apartment number on the first mailing so naturally I never got it and had to start the 7-10 process all over again
