Yikes! I am happy for those who like it, but I am not a fan of this artwork at all. I think it's really disappointing to be honest!

Why couldn't Paramount make the MI7 steelbook artwork match the new MI steelbook wave they just released? The artwork on those is excellent in my opinion. It would have been perfect to see the new steelbook match those.

Now, not only will the MI7 steelbook not match with the other six, but the design also got a downgrade. Oh, well! It is what it is, I suppose.

By the way, I can't wait to check out MI7 this weekend when I get a chance!

My question is does this steelbook feature a 4K disk and a Blu Ray disk or just a 4K disk?
If it''s just a 4K disk than there is no point in me getting it since I don't have 4K.

This must be a general steelbook release since Walmart has it up for pre-order as well.

On the heels of the recently released steel books, or not for that matter, you’ve got to be kidding me.

This is what happens when a designer and or art department put their own personal aesthetics above common sense, or just mail it in.

Apparently it's the new trend. Release new steelbooks of past films right before the newest one is released and then don't match them upon its release.
John Wick and Transformers are two other recent ones.

The standard releases are 4K + Digital only and Blu Ray + Digital only

I'm going to bite the bullet and take the chance that the steelbook has both the 4K and the Blu Ray disks.The Scream 6 steelbook has both disks and is also Paramount.I also think Transformers:Rise Of The Beast steelbook also comes with both disks too(again Paramount).

I want to get it while the 20% off at Target sale is still going and I want to order another thing that is $5.00 and requires the $35 minimum. I can't do that with the standard Blu Ray release and I do like the 4K art so again,I'll take the chance..If the steelbook ends up being 4K only,I'll either cancel the order if I learn soon enough or return it in person sealed and get the standard Blu Ray.

So glad I didn't double-dip on the 4K Steelbooks. I knew I couldn't trust Paramount to make a matching one.

Pre-ordered from Target with 20% off for $27.99. Don’t have RedCard so had to spend at least another $7.01 to get free shipping, so got some vitamins and am set!

Not sure if you are aware or not, but you can get a Debt Red Card that is just attached to your checking account. No fees or anything. It's what I did and I get all the benefits of a Red Card without having a new CC and it just comes out of my checking when I shop at Target. Plus you still get the 5% on most purchases, including this sale, so 25% off.

I would have fired the art department.

Not for making such a terrible steel with the rest of the set they just did...but for missing the really obvious chance to finagle the train to actually make it "M:I-7"

YOU HAD ONE JOB, PEOPLE!

But saw the movie yesterday, highly recommend if you are a fan of the series.

The artwork on the standard releases is closer in looks to the recent steelbooks and the initial standard 4K releases. I think it looks better than the steelbook.
