I was surprised too but I looked it up and it's a Regency title, so perhaps like other titles such as JFK, L.A. Confidential and Heat this has actually switched over to Fox for distribution. That's the only explanation I can come up with.

The co-financed/owned properties though, feck knows - JFK is co-owned and with Fox, as are L.A. Confidential, Heat, and Fight Club, whereas other co-owned properties like The Client, A Time to Kill, and Free Willy, remain with WBs.... ![]() |

Bit by bit, one way or another, you will like him more. Hate? I hate the toxic fandom, I don't hate a company I just will not support piss poor quality control and there are normally other options for the films they have licenced. |

A very underrated Carpenter and Chevy film; I knew it would come out on Blu Ray as I just re-watched the DVD the other day. No need to thank me all at once
![]() Loving all the Chase references in this thread. Chase made quite a few really entertaining films, with Fletch and at least 2 of the Vacations being comedy classics. Some prime Chase for noobies: Foul Play Caddyshack Vacation 1-4 Fletch Funny Farm Spies Like Us The Three Amigos (though I haven't watched it in a while) Memoirs... |

From what I’ve seen, Fox bought out Regency in 1997, ending Regency’s previous Warner’s deal. Maybe, as part of the buyout, Warner’s kept the distribution rights to back catalogue titles for another 20 years before flipping them over to Fox. That’s the only way I can think of it.
Worth noting that Heat, LA Confidential and other formerly Warner’s titles are now distributed by Fox on BD. |

The deal with Fox was made in 1997 but it didn't take over distribution until 1999, when the WBs deal officially ended.
The back catalogue, as per above, still appears to be split - the only movies that will have definitely moved to Fox from pre-1999 are the ones that Regency fully financed. The ones that WBs contributed to financially, we've seen some now released by Fox, and some by WBs. |
