PS3 drive making weird noises - Blu-ray Forum

when i inserted any disc into the system the disc got stuck and the system started to make weird noises (im guessing its the drive making noises)(movie,games dont play). anyone here ever had this problem and can i fix it? i cant send it back because warranty is up. im going to take it apart soon to check out what could be wrong. i just what to post here to see if anyone had some ideas what it could be. thanks

Is your PS3 standing vertically? If so, try laying it down. Sounds like the discs are not loading correctly.
