The movie could do with a 4K restoration, and most of the CGI still holds up well today and would benefit from the format. I wound't be surprised if the Blu-ray was from the same master as the 1999 DVD. The need to do a decent cover art though, as those revisionist covers with the blue sky and clouds (at odds with the movie's aesthetic) just don't work.
