Except Amazon don't have Loki for sale. There's a placeholder but you can't order it.


Unless it's sold out already? Wandavision and Mandalorian are there but Loki isn't. Anyway besides the point.

Got Loki and Wandavision from hmv, leaving the Mandalorian but got to keep adding to that MCU physical media collection...

This is 4 discs apparently, it looks like we are getting 2K & 4K combo packs of all these D+ releases rather than separate editions as in the US.

Unfortunately that means the discs will probably be stacked inside the SteelBooks, as they were with Avatar 2.

Same but I went to HMV as Loki still wasn't up for sale on Amazon and Amazon has recently been VERY unreliable at getting things out for release day (unlike HMV) with my Amazon orders often turning up on the Saturday AFTER the Moday of release.

I know a lot of people wanted the BDs included (especially at that price) but is there actually any evidence to say this is so? A 4K is a type of Blu-ray so often (and correctly) referred to as a 4K Blu-ray. Because in the UK we usually have BDs as well as the 4Ks in a set, much more than the US or some other countries, some people read 4K Blu-ray set as 4K and Blu-rays whereas this sometimes isn't the case.

According to Zavvi and HMV listings, 4 discs 4K+Blu-ray in their description write-ups.

But you won't really know until somebody has it in hand, right?

There are also no Blu-ray only releases, as there are in the US. In the UK Prey has multiple editions but the D+ shows just have the one.

Well if they are definitely combi packs I might change my mind. I missed the part that said Blu-ray..

I got mine today, Prey was fine thankfully but Loki was dented and two of the discs inside had those horrible scrape marks I was dreading so it's going back. It's going to be the same with WandaVision and The Mandalorian I fear...

Well, there were 7 copies left about a half hour ago on Amazon. Once those go it could be a pain in the arse to get a replacement.

Forget that. They must have got more stock.

There's no guarantee the replacement will be undamaged, in fact it's highly likely it won't be. Having now checked the discs again, I can see scrape marks on 3 out of 4 of them, with that kind of hit rate it's going to be impossible to get an undamaged set.

I dont know how, considering the shit A3 mailer these were in, but they are mint and unblemished. Two steellbooks and Silent Rage in the same packet and not a mark on 'em.

I had three steelbooks in mine, two were slightly dented but I'd rather that than scratched discs, of course what I got were dented steelbooks AND scratched discs but at least one was fine. 1 out of 3, not a great hit rate.

I've got the Oppenheimer steel apparently coming tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.
